Our mountain and trekking bike frame sizes are determined by measuring from the center of the bottom bracket shell to the top of the seat tube (referred to as "center to top" sizing). This gives the nominal frame size in inches. Rocky Mountain Bicycles road bike frame sizes are determined by measuring from the center of the bottom bracket shell to the center to the top tube at the seat tube (referred to as "center to center" sizing). This gives the nominal frame size in centimeters.
We use an environmentally sensitive powder coating paint process on our frames. This process creates a durable coating for our frames that lasts for years. Because the coating starts out as a powder and is then baked on, we cannot supply touch-up paint to customers. We recommend using high-quality model paint from a hobby store or an automotive touch-up paint.
