CREATION PROCESS

All Rocky Mountain bikes are first prototyped in our Vancouver B.C. location. From the original concept meeting, to 3D models, to our master framebuilders cutting the tubes and cnc¹ing the parts, the entire process takes place under one roof.

UNDER ONE ROOF

Having the ability to turn ideas into reality in a matter of days significantly speeds up product development, because we¹re never at the mercy of a vendor¹s lead time we can do everything ourselves in house. It¹s important to know every tiny detail about the bikes we make, and without building them first for ourselves, we couldn¹t.

ENGINEERS WHO RIDE

Not only does Rocky Mountain have a large engineering department, but ours is staffed with experienced senior engineers and designers who all RIDE. They know what matters both on the computer and on the trail.

BUILDING WINNERS

Our professional athletes are key in our bike development process. It¹s with their help that we can refine our designs and produce bikes that are competitive at the highest level. Our 2009 launch of Vertex RSL was successful due to the input we received from our athletes like Marie-Helene Premont and Alison Sydor. For the 2009 season we developed the Flatline WC Prototype for Sabrina Jonnier and the Maxxis-Rocky Mountain team and it has since won more world cups than any other brand. The Team¹s feedback was instrumental for us to launch the Flatline World Cup for 2010.
