Bernadette hails from Brevard, North Carolina where she’s lived for 17 years. She didn’t throw a leg over a bicycle until 2007 and fell in love on her very first ride! Over the years she’s been lucky enough to ride technical terrain right out her back door forcing her to learn a variety of skills, especially roots and rocks both in dry and wet conditions in the dank woods of Pisgah National Forest. The enjoyment of riding stems from losing herself in the moment, disconnecting from the daily grind, and connecting with friends and simply playing in the woods. In recent years she has transitioned into coaching so others can also experience the joys that come with the freedom of being on a bike. You can also find her riding with her daughter sharing laughs and encouraging the next generation to get out and get amongst!
