Chief Commercial Officer

As Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing sales and marketing strategies for all products, with the goal of ensuring business growth.

Your primary mission:

As Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing sales and marketing strategies for all products, with the goal of ensuring business growth. You will report directly to the General Manager and will oversee all sales and marketing teams.

Your mandate:

You will be tasked with managing three major points in the sales and marketing sector

1. Strategies, analysis, and forecasts

  • Execute competitive analysis of sales and marketing best practices and target relevant information in order to formulate winning strategies
  • Implement sales, marketing, and communication development strategies in order to drive the evolution of the company’s growth and positioning
  • Conclude business decisions, including sales/purchase forecasts, according to rigorous macro and micro-economic analyses
  • Participate in executive committee collaborative and democratic meetings
     

2. Implementation of sales and marketing strategy

  • Turn strategies into tactical objectives and concrete actions
  • Optimize marketing penetration tactics for the Rocky Mountain brand in target markets
  • Manage and guide a multi-site team in successful sales and marketing activities (Eastern Canada, Western Canada, USA)
  • Oversee alignment and execution of strategies through regular and thorough monitoring of results
  • Ensure the development and performance of the North American and international distribution network
  • Expand market share by establishing a solid worldwide business network
  • Ensure cohesion between the sales and marketing teams and foster excellent communication within the company as a whole
     

3. Optimization & restructuring of the sales and marketing department

  • Oversee sales and marketing procedures in order to optimize internal procedural efficiency
  • Support the teams in the implementation and optimization of our B2B software system
  • Supervise the development of all necessary marketing communication tools
  • Implement key performance indicators and an efficient dashboard for continuous monitoring
  • Ensure continuous improvement of services and offers for total customer satisfaction
  • Realize the full potential of the sales and marketing teams 

Required skill set:

  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian, American, and International markets
  • Knowledge of distribution channel management and retail environments
  • Knowledge of B2B and B2B2C commerce
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and other general use software
  • Knowledge of the sports and/or leisure industries
  • Excellent command of the English language

          *Proficiency in French or another language would be an asset, but is not required

Your mission:

Your mission is to spread the word about our bikes and to grow the Rocky Mountain community throughout Eastern Canada. You will organize demo tours and participate in scheduled riding events in order to get out and meet customers and mountain biking enthusiasts. While out on the road, you will seize opportunities to promote and sell our related products and to provide technical support as needed.

You will plan and organize all aspects of your demo tour (schedule, demos, workshops and presentations, promotional material, logistics, transportation, security, maintenance and storage of material, etc.) and will be responsible for caring for the vehicle and the fleet of bikes entrusted to you.

In collaboration with your colleagues from the marketing, sales and customer services teams, you will play a key role in the deployment of the sales force throughout Eastern Canada and contribute to creating the incredible customer experience Rocky Mountain takes pride in. As a technical service agent, you identify and understand the problems raised, resolve them efficiently and quickly, making sure to use all the resources at your disposal to provide the best solution.

You are THE resource person for our merchants, distributors, consumers and sales representatives.  By your role and interventions, consumers will leave satisfied, despite the problems that may arise.  Every day, you help build the relationship of trust between Rocky Mountain and its customers.

Your mission:

As a technical service agent, you identify and understand the problems raised, resolve them efficiently and quickly, making sure to use all the resources at your disposal to provide the best solution.

You provide technical support covering both the mechanical aspects of the bike and the electronic components (when applicable), making the right diagnosis and providing sound advice.

Guardian of customer relations, you respond diligently to their requests and you guide them using the tools in place.  You ensure a rigorous follow-up of the files in progress, until complete resolution of the problem, limiting the delays as much as possible.

Finally, you play a key role in the continuous improvement of our products and processes by liaising with your colleagues in the quality, research and development (Saint-Georges and Vancouver) and operations departments.
